MandrakeSoft announces the success of its entry on the Stock Exchange

Paris, July 31th, 2001 - MandrakeSoft (Euroclear code : 4477), the famous publisher of Mandrake Linux operating system announces today that it has succeeded in entering the Paris Euronext's « Marche Libre » under the aegis of Europe Offering and KBC Securities France.

A total of 688.480 shares - priced at 6.2 Euro each - were suscribed as institutional investment and Fixed Price Offer. This results in an increase in capital of 4,3 Meuros and represents 20,28% of the capital after issue.

MandrakeSoft wishes to thank all the institutional and private investors who have given their support and faith by investing in MandrakeSoft.

This entry on Paris Euronext's "Marche Libre" testifies that MandrakeSoft is a world leader in the fast-growing markets of Linux operating systems and Open Source solutions.
