Mandrake Linux 8.1 for IA64 is available

MandrakeSoft announces the immediate availability of Mandrake Linux 8.1 for Intel Itanium Architecture. The Itanium 64-bit architecture is a high-performance platform commonly used for servers and highly demanding business software, such as large database, ERM/CRM applications or advanced computing.

With Mandrake Linux 8.1 for Itanium-based architecture, MandrakeSoft is proud to provide businesses with a robust and scalable Linux solution for high performance computing.

Mandrake Linux 8.1 for Itanium has been fully tested with numerous HP, IBM and Bull configurations. This new release offers the same features as Mandrake Linux 8.1, but has been optimized for the IA64 architecture.
