Description : FSF Europe's tasks will include: coordinating the Free Software initiatives throughout Europe, providing infrastructure for Free Software projects and especially the GNU Project, providing a competence-center for politicians and the press.

Mandriva support : On December 28, 2000, Mandriva donated 2500 Euro to the Free Software Foundation Europe, the acknowledged sister organization of the Free Software Foundation in the United States. This support will allow FSF Europe to cover the legal expenses incurred in January 2001.
