 MandrakeSoft to be present at Solutions Linux, Feb. 4-6, Paris, CNIT-La Défense 2003-01-30
MandrakeSoft is pleased to participate in Solutions Linux, scheduled to take place from Feb. 4-6, 2003, at CNIT-Paris-La Défense. We are particularly delighted to exhibit our technology and expertise in association with several partners.
MandrakeSoft will join Jaluna (www.jaluna.com) in their display booth. Jaluna, founded by the team that invented Chorus^(TM) microkernel real-time operating systems, will announce its Jaluna-2, which enables manufacturers and integrators to add Real-Time, Availability and Security into their Linux products. At Jaluna's booth, you will see Jaluna-2 demos and will learn more about Jaluna-1, the Open Source, royalty-free, carrier-grade Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
At Bull's booth, MandrakeSoft will be participating in conferences about clustering solutions, the 5th at 11:30 and the 6th at 10:30. Bull (www.bull.com) is an international group that designs and develops servers and software for an open environment, integrating the most advanced technologies. It brings to its customers its expertise and know-how to help them in the transformation of their information systems and to optimize their IT infrastructure and their applications.
The MandrakeClustering distribution will be exhibited at Dataswift's booth, using Bi-Athlon MP 1900 processors. Dataswift (www.dataswift.fr) manufactures high-end servers and distributes hardware. The company specializes in Clusters.
Keynotes and conferences
- MandrakeSoft's CEO, Jacques Le Marois, will be holding a keynote on Tuesday, Feb. 4th, 9:30 am.
- Gwenolé Beauchesne of the MandrakeSoft development team will present the latest evolutions related to the X86-64 architecture.
- Till Kampeter, responsible for the printing policy at MandrakeSoft, will participate in the conference about "Free Software for infrastructure" with a presentation entitled "The New Generation of Printing: CUPS and Footmatic". Wednesday, 5th, 9:30-12:00.
- Erwan Velu, Project Manager for the MandrakeClustering Distribution, will handle a presentation in partnership with INRIA/ID-IMAG, on Linagora's booth. He'll also hold a conference about clustering on Wednesday the 5th, in the afternoon.
