Using Discovery for Multimedia

Discovery is a great system for multimedia. It's very easy to listen to music, watch videos, use a digital camera and edit pictures. Discovery also includes numerous games for your enjoyment.

Listen to music

It's a simple as popping in a CD or clicking on a file. Amarok, Discovery's audio player, handles most types of audio documents (including mp3). Look at a screenshot.

Watch videos

Discovery can play DVDs, DivXs and MPEG movies. Here again, just click.

Use a digital camera

Plug in your camera* and an icon will appear on your desktop. From it you can access, copy or delete every picture you've stored. USB keys work in the same straightforward manner.

Edit pictures

The Gimp is Discovery's state-of-the-art picture and photo editor. Use it to create logos, artwork, or just to play around.

Play games

Discovery comes loaded with dozens of games. Strategy, action, management, puzzles - there are games to suit all tastes.
