Since Linux is truly an international effort, Mandriva Linux has always encouraged localization and internationalization efforts. Mandriva Linux supports the largest number of languages ever in a Linux system: The Mandriva Linux installer and the Mandrivalinux configuration tools completely (or partially) support 73 different languages, from Afrikaans to Welsh.
Many other applications, such as KDE, GNOME and OpenOffice.org, also support a wide variety of languages.
